On small eyes use a dark shade of eye liner that thickens at the outer edge of the eye. This help give the illusion of a more opened up eye.

EYEBROW TIPS

There are various methods to control and shape your eyebrows:-  They are waxing, plucking and threading.

Before doing your eyebrows remember, that not always does your hair grow back.

IF plucking pluck in the direction of your hair growth.

Don’t be afraid to trim you eyebrows with scissors. To get the best result brush the hairs upwards towards your hair line and trim and long ones.

Use an eyebrow pencil, nearest to your natural colour of eyebrow to help define them.

Use brow mouse, clear mascara or Vaseline to control the hairs once shaped and coloured.

THE PERFECT LIPSTICK APPLICATION.

Prep and prim the lips by exfoliating and conditioning them. Remove excess product before continuing.

Cover natural lip colour with conceal or foundation. Set using face power to help maintain lip colour and stop bleeding.

Apply lip liner, making sure you apply to whole lip following the natural line. This is the stage you would amend the lip shape and make any corrections required. [If the lip is to big then do line inside the natural lip line and if lip line is to thin draw above lip line]

Using a lip colour to match lip line or blend with it, cover whole of the lip inside the lip line, including the corner of your mouth. Remove any mistakes using a cotton bud.

Blot using a tissue. Apply another layer of colour. This gives you a stronger and longer lasting lip colour. 

Simple natural eye look.

Use either a bronzer or a light shade of beige over the whole eye lid.

Then use a deep brown eye shadow along the upper and lower lash line and blend gently.

Use a little brown in your socket line to define [softly blending it as you apply] .

Then apply  your mascara. 

With this look you can afford to put quite a bit of mascara on if you wish.

Eyebrows

Keep your eyebrows well groomed and shaped by plucking, waxing or threading. When shaping remember eyebrows are sisters not twins.  Also keep them defined by brow powder, pencil or tinting them and brushing them. 

Remember eyebrows are the frame to your eyes.

A STRONG LIP SHAPE 

Using a pencil lip liner before you put your lipstick on, will help you even up your lips if needed, define your lip shape and strengthen it. Use a pencil that's either slightly darker than your natural lip shade or one to match your lipstick. 

                     OFFICE TO PARTY EYES

Here is a quick tip on how to change your eyes from the office look to a party look.

Taking a soft pencil in black for the dramatic look or brown for a softer look, line the inside of your eye or what is often called the ‘Waterline’

 Then using the same soft pencil dot along the bottom lash line.

Using a cotton bud or make up brush, rub along the lash line and gently smudge the dots, to give you a soft, smokey smudged effect.

Then apply your mascara to top and bottom lashes.

Give you face a quick spritz with Evian water or a scented facial spritz to refresh and off you go.

Don’t forget to add your lipstick to finish off the look.

Clear, red, pink or glitter varnish: which to use? No panic – here are our hints and tips on choosing varnishes that suit you and make your nails look sublime.                                   The golden rule Match your varnish to your look. Nail varnish is part of your style, and just like any accessory, it has to match your outfit.  Make sure your colour matches what you're wearing and you won't have to worry about hiding your clashing nails from the world. Choosing colour  Choose a colour the same as (or closely related to) a colour in your outfit.   Clear, pink, cream or beige varnishes dress up your nails with an elegant, subtle touch.  Whatever the season and whatever your style, natural shades always work, they're quick to slick on and last for 3-4 days. A French manicure takes longer, but looks très sophisticated.    Red nail polish incarnates femininity, is chic for a night out and goes perfectly with lip shine or red lipstick.   Advice: buy your varnish and lipstick from the same brand so that you don't end up with a colour clash!   Tip: red nail varnish requires a base coat and 2 coats of varnish. Needless to say, black, being black, goes with black!   Avoid: brown clothes plus black nail varnish equals disaster.   Glitter varnish illuminates your look. It glams up tanned summer feet, and can be a great way of accessorising your feet and adding a bit of dazzle to winter outfits. Only use it occasionally, though.   Choosing the right type of varnish  It doesn't stop there once you've got the colour right! You also have to choose from the different types of texture, each of which give a different effect (pearly, shiny or matte).   For work or everyday wear, use matte nail varnish. The effect is quite subtle, and perfect if you like to keep your make up discreet and natural.   Shiny varnish that brings a sophisticated touch to your style is very in vogue at the minute. Whatever colour you choose, the studied, classy effect will give you dazzling, feminine hands.    Pearly nail varnish isn’t in any more, but it can still look good on tanned hands.
